Saturday afternoon sees Everton travel to the South Coast to take on Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium.

The same fixture proved to be one of the games of the season last year as the two sides played out a scintillating 3-3 draw.

This time around, however, Eddie Howe’s team go into the clash having managed just four points from their first five games and currently sit 17th in the table.

Things have gone much better for the Blues, with Ronald Koeman’s side currently sitting second in the table thanks to their best start since 1978.

Two key players for either side are wingers Jordon Ibe and Kevin Mirallas, so we took a look at how they compared so far.

It proved to be a win for the Everton man as he came out on top in six of the eight areas looked at.

On a per game basis, he has managed more accurate passes and enjoyed a better overall passing accuracy than the former Liverpool youngster.

He has also managed more accurate crosses per game and a better overall crossing accuracy than Ibe so far.

Attacking wise he also comes out on top, having registered more shots on target per game as well as bettering the Bournemouth man when it comes to goals and assists.

The only area the Cherries star comes out on top is when it comes to dribbles, having posted two won contests per game to Mirallas’ tally of 1.2.

A comfortable win for the Mirallas man, though and Everton will be hoping he can once again come out on top in Saturday’s game.
