Bournemouth are set to beat Everton to the signing of Sheffield United goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale, sources close to Bournemouth have told HITC Sport.
Everton had a bid rejected by Sheffield United for the England youth international this month, but Bournemouth have moved quickly to steal in and land Ramsdale ahead of their Premier League rivals.
A number of Premier League clubs have been tracking Ramsdale and Bournemouth are determined to win the race for his signature.

Ramsdale, who has come through the ranks at Sheffield United, is regarded as one of the best young prospects in the country having represented England at Under18 and Under-19 level.

The 18-year-old made his Sheffield United debut in November’s FA Cup win over Leyton Orient and he has been on a regular on the bench acting as understudy to No.1 goalkeeper Simon Moore.
Sheffield United are reluctant to lose their prize asset, but Bournemouth have met their valuation for the keeper and he seems set to make the move to the South Coast.
Bournemouth see Ramsdale as a future star in the making and he is expected to link up with the club’s Under-23s before pushing for a first-team spot.
