Everton, Southampton and Bournemouth have been linked with Arsenal’s Theo Walcott in the January transfer window.

It has been reported by the British tabloid that Bournemouth have approached for Arsenal to recruit Walcott on loan for the rest of the season.

Everton are claimed to be the front-runners for the England international, who can operate as a forward or as a winger, while it has been reported that the 28-year-old could be tempted to return to Southampton.
Walcott has been on the books of Everton since January 2006 when he joined from Southampton for an initial transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £5 million.

According to The Sun, Everton manager Sam Allardyce is willing to pay £20m as transfer fee to the Gunners in order to sign Walcott on a permanent deal.
The Toffees could do with some pace in their team, and given the England international’s quality, he would be a good signing for the Merseyside outfit.
