Everton, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur have all been linked with moves for the Leicester City winger, but Bournemouth appear to be leading the race to sign him.

Bournemouth have leapfrogged a trio of linked clubs – Everton, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur – to become the new favourites for Demarai Gray’s signature.

Gray is said to have attracted interest from Everton, Liverpool and Tottenham after impressing at this summer’s European Under-21 Championship [The Sun].

At club level, however, the Leicester City winger has found regular game time hard to come by, and publicly aired his concerns while on England duty last month.

In response to Gray’s comments, Leicester manager Craig Shakespeare told The Sun: “I’ve had conversations with Demarai about being patient.

“I understand that sometimes that can just be words but he has a big future here.”

As such, Gray is currently odds-on [8/11] to remain at Leicester this summer [Sky Bet], although it appears a move away from the King Power Stadium could still be on the cards.

And despite not being listed among the several interested parties, Bournemouth [3/1] are seemingly leading the race to prise him away – ahead of Everton [4/1], Tottenham [9/1] and Liverpool [12/1].

Bournemouth currently have seven recognised wingers on their books, although it is plausible that Eddie Howe’s could be eyeing replacements should the likes of Josh King – another reported Everton and Tottenham target [The Mirror] – and Max Gradel depart.
