Chelsea goalkeeper Asmir Begovic looks set to join AFC Bournemouth, after the Cherries had a £10m bid accepted by the Blues for the Bosnia and Herzegovina international, as reported by Sky Sports.
The 29-year-old has made 33 appearances for Chelsea in all competitions during his two-year stay at Stamford Bridge, with 19 of those coming in the Premier League, but had previously been a mainstay in goal for Stoke City, as well as playing Premier League football for Portsmouth.

The move represents a big statement of intent for Eddie Howe’s side, with Begovic seen as one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League prior to his move to Chelsea, and his ability only went under the radar because of how good Thibaut Courtois is.
Begovic represents a huge upgrade on both Artur Boruc and Adam Federici and will be expected to be Bournemouth’s number one goalkeeper for the foreseeable future, as the Cherries look to improve on their ninth placed Premier League finish this season.

As for Chelsea, it’ll be expected that Antonio Conte will look to add a replacement back-up goalkeeper to his squad rather than promote someone from within, with David Stockdale being one name linked with a switch to Stamford Bridge.
The 31-year-old Brighton and Hove Albion stopper recently rejected a new deal at the Amex Stadium, as reported by the Daily Express, and will be available on a free transfer in the summer.
