Jack Wilshere completed a season-long loan move from Arsenal to Bournemouth in what could be a transfer masterstroke by Eddie Howe.

Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth made one of the moves of the transfer window when they completed the loan signing of Jack Wilshere from Arsenal.
The move was one of the standout moments on the final day of the transfer window as Bournemouth fought off fierce competition from a number of clubs including AS Roma, AC Milan and Crystal Palace.
In moving for Wilshere, Howe has sent a clear message regarding the direction in which he is looking to take Bournemouth, and the signing represents how far the club has come in the last six years in their rise up the leagues.
The feeling is that the move is good for both parties, with Wilshere having fallen down the pecking order in Arsenal’s midfield options. Arsene Wenger granted him permission to seek a loan move to get more game time after struggling over recent seasons with serious injuries – Wilshere has made only 19 appearances since the start of the 2014 season.

The deal was a headline-grabbing move and one that Howe will feel can really get Bournemouth’s season going.
Howe’s side currently lie 19th in the Premier League with only one point from three games, and as much as the move is a huge step forward for The Cherries, it is a move Wilshere had to make if he is to propel himself back in to the England fold and become a part of Sam Allardyce’s Three Lions era.
As the news emerged late last night as the transfer window drew to a close, Bournemouth fans took to Twitter to share their views and opinions on what the signing will mean for the club…
