Tyrone Mings of England acknowledges the fans during the UEFA Euro 2020 qualifier between Bulgaria and England on October 14, 2019 in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Bournemouth sold Tyrone Mings to Aston Villa in the summer in a move which split opinion.

The £26.5 million price tag was seen by many as over priced, but that is forgetting one key element, Mings is a very good centre-back.

The game was overshadowed by racist abuse suffered by England’s players.

One of the effects of this was that Mings’ professional performance seemed even more accomplished.

He did not look out of place alongside Harry Maguire and England dominated their opponents away from home, winning 6-0.

Bournemouth supporters had mixed opinions on seeing Mings play so well for England.
