Leeds sold Lewis Cook to Bournemouth last summer.
Bournemouth’s Marc Pugh celebrates scoring their third goal with Lewis Cook
Lewis Cook starred for Bournemouth as the Cherries demolished a miserable Middlesbrough side 4-0 at the weekend.
Cook was a big money summer signing from Leeds United in the summer, a team where he had been established as a regular since he was 17.
His time at Bournemouth has been frustrating so far, picking up an injury and upon his return finding loanee Jack Wilshere blocking his path to first team football.

Cook came on at the weekend as a substitute against Middlesbrough in the 44th minute, and was outstanding.
He provided an assist for his side’s third, from one of three chances he created. Cook completed 89 per cent of his passes and touched the ball 61 times, more than Harry Arter (45) who played all 90 minutes.
Cook’s impressive display came on the day former club Leeds United’s promotion challenge fell off the rails.

A defeat away at Burton Albion means play-off qualification is out of their own hands and they are left relying on other results with two games remaining.
Leeds have coped well without Cook this season, but his performance for Bournemouth was a reminder of the outstanding talent they cashed in on last summer.
