New Bournemouth signing Arnaut Danjuma has spoken about Aston Villa summer arrivals Marvelous Nakamba and Wesley, saying he is looking forward to facing them in the Premier League this season (Sky Sports News).

Danjuma left Club Brugge last week to join the Cherries for an undisclosed fee reported by Sky Sports News as being £13.7million, putting pen to paper on a long-term contract at the Vitality Stadium.

Meanwhile, two of the Dutchman’s former Brugge teammates also made the switch from Belgium to the Premier League this summer, with Nakamba and Wesley signing for top-flight new-boys Villa.

In an interview on Sky Sports News show Good Morning Transfers, the 22-year-old said he was excited about renewing acquaintances with the two when Bournemouth travel to Villa Park on 18 August.

“There are two players who went to the Premier League from my old club (Nakamba and Wesley) and I am looking forward to meeting them on the pitch,” he said. “The Premier League is the best in the world so it’s always a dream for players. Especially Bournemouth, who I am very happy to join.”

Danjuma is one of four players signed by Bournemouth in the summer transfer window, joining Lloyd Kelly, Jack Stacey and Philip Billing, as Eddie Howe’s charges gear up for their fifth season in the top flight.

The Cherries open their 2019-20 domestic campaign at home against Villa’s fellow newly promoted side Sheffield United, on Saturday 10 August before locking horns with Dean Smith’s side the following Saturday.
