Saturday afternoon saw Everton travel to the south coast to take on Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium.
The Blues were looking to continue their fine start to the season with another win while Eddie Howe’s side were looking to bounce back from the heavy defeat to Manchester City.
It proved to be a happy afternoon for the home side as a goal from Junior Stanislas saw them to a 1-0 victory.
Before the game, we compared key men Kevin Mirallas and Jordon Ibe to see how they had compared so far this season.
It proved to be a win for the Everton man as he came out on top in six of the eight areas we looked at. So did he enjoy similar domination in the game?

And as it turns out, Ibe was the better performer as he won in six of seven key areas.
He played more accurate passes than Mirallas, 28 to eight, and enjoyed a better passing accuracy overall, 93% to 89%.
He also managed more accurate crosses, with the Belgian failing to post any throughout his 60 minutes on the pitch. As a result, Ibe also won when it came to crossing accuracy.

He also came out on top when it came to dribbling, managing to win one in total. Mirallas did not manage any.
The Everton man did come out on top when it came to scoring attempts, posting two compared to Ibe’s one, although neither managed to get one on target.
The Bournemouth star also got more touches of the ball than Mirallas, managing 47 to the Belgian’s lowly 15.
