Nottingham Forest v Birmingham City (October 14)
Nottingham Forest started life under new boss Philippe Montanier in good fashion, winning three of their opening five Championship matches and scoring an impressive 11 goals.
However, since their 3-1 win over Leeds United on matchday five, Forest have gone six games without victory and remain only one of two sides in the Championship yet to keep a clean sheet.
In fact, in Forest’s last eight league matches, both teams have managed to find the net which demonstrates the scoring potential and defensive frailties under French manager Montanier.
Next Friday night they face a decent Birmingham side currently sitting in the top six, and it wouldn’t come as a great suprise to see both teams find the net again in what icould end up being a score draw.

Blackburn Rovers v Nottingham Forest (October 18)
Forest follow up their game against Birmingham with a trip to struggling Blackburn Rovers.
Owen Coyle’s men are the only other side yet to keep a clean sheet this term, and thus far they have struggled for form as they currently occupy one of the three spots in the relegation zone.
The East Midlands side have yet to win on the road this term, but they are undefeated on their last three trips to Ewood Park and this game is as good a chance as any to notch their first away victory.

Nottingham Forest v Cardiff City
The Tricky Trees end the three-game week with a home match against another struggling side in Cardiff City.
The Bluebirds have picked up just eight points from their opening nine matches and a 2-0 defeat to Burton Albion at the weekend saw the Welsh club replace manager Paul Trollope with Neil Warnock.
Warnock did an amazing job in keeping Rotherham United in the Championship against the odds last season, and he will be tasked with steering Cardiff clear of the bottom three over the next seven months.
Forest haven’t beaten Cardiff since 2012, but here they will head in to the match as favourites and they will be hoping the effect of Warnock’s arrival takes a little longer before really coming to the fore.
