Ajax’s Director of Football Sven Mislintat has described Liverpool’s push to sign Wataru Endo from Stuttgart as ‘boss moves’.
Fabrizio Romano posted on Instagram that Liverpool are set to sign the Stuttgart midfielder and he is ‘travelling to Merseyside’ where there is a ‘medical booked’.
In the comments section of that post, Sven Mislintat, who previously worked at Arsenal, but most importantly Stuggart, gave his seal of approval to the club’s move for Wataru Endo by messaging with these two words, ‘boss moves’.
The transfer expert will know all about the Japan star given that he would have seen first-hand what he was all about during his time at Stuttgart.
And if he is given his thumbs up, then it suggests that the Reds are making a wise move here because they have taken a number of body blows regarding missed transfers recently.
Nonetheless, this was what transfer expert Romano posted on his IG about 30-year-old Endo.
Smart move by Liverpool
This is the road Liverpool should have gone down in the first place because the mess of the past week has been an embarrassment for them, as Jamie Carragher touched upon.
The success the Reds have had under Klopp didn’t come from them signing big-name players, but those below that radar and then transformed them into trophy-winning gems.
A player like Endo has all the energy to ensure the smile is not wiped off Klopp’s face because as soon as his engine gets going, he will become a fan favourite pretty quickly.
