Mark Bosnich is confident Ante Postecoglou can do better than Rangers, but should still take the job.

Mark Bosnich has told the Daily Record that he believes Australia manager Ante Postecoglou can do better than Rangers, but should still take the job at Ibrox.
ESPN claim 52-year-old boss Postecoglou is interested in succeeding Pedro Caixinha at Rangers, despite still managing Australia who take part in the first leg of a World Cup qualifier against Honduras on Friday evening.
He joins a long list of potential suitors, with Gianni van Bronckhorst, Sam Allardyce and Alan Pardew all being linked. However, the favourite remains to be Aberdeen boss Derek McInnes, while interim manager Graeme Murty is also in the running.

Former Manchester and Chelsea goalkeeper Bosnich, who now works as a TV pundit in Australia, claimed that Rangers would be a good job for Postecoglou to take but stated that the Socceroos boss has higher ambitions than the Gers.
“I think Rangers would be a good move for Ange,” Bosnich said. “He has got ambitions to manage at a bigger club than Rangers. But I actually think that would be a good club for him.
“They’re not as big a club as they were in the past. They’re not a club that’s won a European Cup, but they’re a big club in terms of their stature up there in Scotland.
“Scotland’s probably second or third rate in terms of comparison to the big leagues in Europe. But that would be a good place for him in my opinion to go there to make his name and to do well.”

Posteoglou brings with him a wealth of football management from down under, taking the reigns at A-League sides Melbourne Victory and Brisbane Roar before becoming Australia boss in October 2013.
After more than four years in the job, Postecoglou’s reign could be coming to an end even if Australia qualify for the World Cup, with his Socceroos contract running out in June.
