Max Eberl has denied they will sell the midfielder to Liverpool, or anyone else for that matter, in January.
Liverpool appear to be met with frustration in their chase for Mahmoud Dahoud, with Borussia Monchengladbach sporting director Max Eberl insisting to Kicker that the player is going nowhere any time soon.
The Reds were linked with a move for the midfielder in the summer transfer window as Jurgen Klopp rebuilt his squad.
However, a move did not materialise despite the German boss reportedly being a big admirer of the midfielder.

With just over a month to go until the January transfer window, it has once again been suggested that Liverpool could look to bring him to Anfield.
However, Eberl appears to have put the brakes on any idea by warning that Dahoud is not set to go anywhere.
“There is a zero percent chance that Mahmoud will leave in January,” he told Kicker.
“There is no offer for him on the table from any club and we have not had any offers for him in the past either.”

The sporting director has however offered the Reds a glimmer of hope for the next summer transfer window.
Dahoud has a contract that runs until 2018 and is yet to agree to an extended deal at Monchengladbach.
Should that situation stay the same until next summer, it would mean the club could face losing him on a free the year after.
That would force them to look for a sale in the next summer transfer window and Eberl says they will consider his future if he has not agreed on a new contract by that point.
“It is the club’s desire to extend his contract. We have not opened talks yet, but that will soon happen,” he added.
“We will have to consider our options if he only has one year left on his contract next year, but that is pure speculation at this stage.”
