Borussia Dortmund attacking midfielder Mario Gotze has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to his side drawing Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League.

German club Dortmund will take on Premier League side Tottenham in the last-16 stage of Europe’s premier club competition this season.

The first leg will take place in London in February, with the return leg to be played in Germany in March.

Gotze, who worked with current Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp at Dortmund, has given his take on the tie on Twitter.

Goals galore

Both Tottenham and Dortmund are attacking teams, and there is a very good chance that there will be a lot of goals in the tie over the two legs.

Given how Dortmund have been playing in the Bundesliga so far this season and the quality of players they have in their squad (Gotze, Marco Reus and Christian Pulisic, just to name three), they will be confident of winning at home in the second leg.

For Tottenham to progress from this tie, they need to win the first leg at home by at least two goals and must not concede even one.
