Tottenham Hotspur should consider a move for the German ace.

It seems as though Mauricio Pochettino has plenty of work to do over the next couple of transfer widows, if he is to continue the fine work that he has already done at Tottenham.
One particular department where the Argentine will want to strengthen is his midfield department, with Mousa Dembele’s contract set to expire, and Victor Wanyama being heavily linked with an exit.
With this in mind, Spurs should consider a move for Borussia Dortmund midfield ace Julian Weigl, with the German struggling for regular first-team action at Signal Iduna Park.
The 23-year-old joined Dortmund from 1860 Munich in the summer of 2015, and he has gone on to establish himself as one of the best deep-lying midfielders in Europe, notching up a handful of caps for the German national team in the process.
Weigl possesses exceptional technique, a wide range of passing, and he is also incredible tenacious in the tackle – three qualities that makes him ideally suited to the way in which Tottenham play.

The Germany international earns £62,000 per-week at Dortmund, according to Sportek, and is under contract with the Bundesliga outfit until the summer of 2021.
With Axel Witsel and Thomas Delaney both currently ahead of Weigl in the central midfield pecking order at Dortmund, Tottenham might just be able to tempt the Germans into selling, and if Poch does manage to bring him to north London, he could turn out to be a signing of real significance for the Lilywhites.
