Borussia Dortmund have made contract with Arsenal for Olivier Giroud. West Ham must act quickly.

Dortmund want the 31-year-old on a short-term basis. However, they have insisted that any potential deal will be treated separately from that of Piere-Emerick Aubameyang, who is reportedly being courted by Arsenal.

Arsenal have lost Theo Walcott, and are on the verge of losing Alexis Sanchez, but that hardly changes Giroud’s scenario.

This is the perfect time for West Ham to make a cheeky loan bid for the French international, who has scored 73 league goals for the Gunners since joining the club in 2012 from Montpellier.
With Javier Hernandez failing to impress David Moyes, and with Andy Carroll suffering an ankle injury, signing Giroud on a short-term basis could prove to be a fantastic piece of business from West Ham.
