Borussia Dortmund have reportedly been scouting AS Roma striker Tammy Abraham, with Everton and Manchester United interested in signing the England international.

According to Giallorossi, the Bundesliga giants have now joined the packed race to sign the former Chelsea star, with Erik Ten Hag’s United and Everton also keen on Abraham, who is being heavily tipped to leave Italy this summer after two seasons in Rome.

As reported by the Athletic, Abraham’s old club Chelsea have a €80m (£71m) buy-back clause for the striker. However, it is unlikely that the Blues will activate this option with Christopher Nkunku set to join in the summer, meaning the likes of Dortmund, United and Everton could all battle it out for the forward.

Once praised by Jack Grealish as an ‘unbelievable’ player, Abraham has been an impressive goalscorer in Italy under Jose Mourinho, yet interest over a move is now building, with Dortmund entering the competition to sign the attacker ahead of next season.

Indeed, the Bundesliga side are expected to have plenty of money to spend in the summer with Jude Bellingham due to leave for a British transfer record, and for Everton and United, Dortmund’s interest in signing Abraham could be a huge problem for the Premier League duo.

Although Dortmund are stacked in the striker position with Sebastien Hallen and Karim Adeyemi, Abraham could be tempted with a move to Germany, yet this latest interest could spur Everton or United to change their stance on the England international ahead of the summer.

Abraham looks set for a departure from Italy after two impressive seasons with Roma, and although Dortmund would make sense as a next step for the attacker, Everton and United could have something to say about that in the summer transfer window.

As we know, both English sides are keen to sign a new leading striker, and with Abraham set to leave the Eternal City, Everton or United could make offers to beat Dortmund to this signing, one that could be huge ahead of next season.
