TEAMtalk have reported that Borussia Dortmund and Juventus are keeping tabs on Aston Villa gem Tim Iroegbunam.
Just two weeks ago, the Athletic had reported that Iroegbunam was being ‘watched by’ a number of top English clubs after his impressive spell on loan under Michael Beale at QPR.
Perhaps what is exciting is that former Aston Villa boss Steven Gerrard, who is arguably the greatest Premier League midfielder of all time dubbed the 19-year-old as ‘outstanding.’
With the now-Borussia Dortmund and Juventus -linked starlet Tim Iroegbunam being a central midfielder by trade as well, this is a sign of just how naturally gifted he well and truly is.
The youngster was on the bench for Aston Villa in their back-to-back defeats against West Ham United and Arsenal.
Currently, Iroegbunam is contracted to Villa Park until 2027, which would indicate that his future is as safe and secure as possible.
However, two giants of European football seem to be aiming to prise him away from the top dogs in Birmingham.
Borussia Dortmund and Juventus are keeping tabs on Tim Iroegbunam

As per a new report by TEAMtalk, both Borussia Dortmund and Juventus are ‘tracking’ Aston Villa wonderkid Tim Iroegbunam.
Both Juve and Dortmund kept an eye on the progress made by Iroegbunam during his impressive spell at QPR on loan.
Interestingly, the Bundesliga heavyweights are particularly interested in the teenager.
So much so that Borussia Dortmund believe Iroegbunam is capable of becoming the next big English important, much like in the vein of Jadon Sancho and Jude Bellingham.
If Aston Villa are tempted by a sale, they should try to get their money’s worth
Ideally, one would recommend Aston Villa to keep hold of a sensational talent such as Tim Iroegbunam.
But if Villa are considering a sale, they should ensure Borussia Dortmund and Juventus pay a pretty penny, as it is rare that such elite clubs are interested in their players, namely Iroegbunam in this instance.
A major fee for a talented, yet unproven commodity would be a massive success for the Villains.
