Borussia Dortmund fans have responded to Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s tweet about Hans-Joachim Watzke.

Dortmund CEO Watzke recently suggested to Suddeutsche Zeitung that Aubameyang joined Arsenal because of money.

The 30-year-old striker moved to Premier League club Arsenal from Bundesliga outfit Dortmund in January 2018 for a transfer fee reported by The Daily Mail to be worth £56 million.

The Gabon international striker has hit back at Watzke on Twitter, and some Dortmund fans have responded to his post.

Succeeding at Arsenal

Aubameyang did well during his time at Dortmund and established himself as one of the best strikers in the world.

The striker – who is valued at €90 million (£80m) by the CIES Football Observatory – has been a success at Arsenal as well, with the Gabon international one of the first names on the teamsheet.

According to WhoScored, the 30-year-old has scored seven goals in seven Premier League appearances for Arsenal so far this season, while in 2018-19, the streaker scored 22 goals and provided five assists in 30 league starts for the Gunners.
