If Liverpool do want to sign Borussia Dortmund talent Jude Bellingham, then they must have been blown away by his performance against Besiktas on Wednesday.

The Reds claimed their own Champions League win on Wednesday night, beating AC Milan 3-2 at Anfield.

Liverpool scouts may have had one eye on Dortmund though, with Bellingham starring in a 2-1 win at Besiktas.

Bellingham opened the scoring with a fine finish before dancing down the left to set up Erling Haaland for the second.

Liverpool’s interest in Bellingham

Rumours of Liverpool pursuing Bellingham have been gathering pace of late.

90Min claim Liverpool are in ‘constant talks’ with Dortmund in a bid to set up a 2022 move for Bellingham.

The Daily Star suggest that Bellingham will cost £80million, with Manchester City now keen too.

Liverpool will have to dig deep to pay that kind of money for Bellingham – but it may just be worth it.
