Liverpool have been linked with a move for the Borussia Dortmund youngster.
Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc has told Bild it would be pointless for Liverpool to target Christian Pulisic.
The Reds were keen on the American international in the summer and saw a bid rejected by the Bundesliga side.
It is an interest that does not appear to have dissipated, with reports recently suggesting they will again make a move for his services in January following an injury to Philippe Coutinho.

Dortmund are not keen to sell at any point, though, with Pulisic starring in the first team under Thomas Tuchel this season.
And Zorc has warned their former managed against a move, telling Bild: “It’s not worth the effort for Liverpool.”
With a move for Pulisic appearing to be a non-starter, it will be interesting to see who Liverpool do end up targeting in January if they do at all.

They will lose Sadio Mane to the African Cup of Nations half way through the month and Jurgen Klopp will surely be wary of leaving his side short as a result.
With prices likely to be high and targets hard to secure, though, perhaps he will instead turn to the club’s youngsters rather than making signings to help them through.
