After all, the impending appointment of a new manager will be vital to their promotion hopes this season. As reported by Express & Star, young defender Cameron Borthwick-Jackson has urged his teammates to hit the ground running this weekend in what is sure to be a vital clash against Derby County.
Borthwick-Jackson made his return to the first team during the weekend’s draw against Blackburn Rovers, but despite his reputation the 19-year-old has not exactly set the world alight so far during his tenure at Molineux. Regardless, he youngster was full of optimism when discussing the Derby game.
“I think we just need to concentrating from the off really but the lads all know what we want to do so it is just putting it into place.” said the defender to Express & Star.

“As I say, we just need to start bright. The games that we start bright in you can see how well we do in them. We can’t leave it until later in the game, you have to be ready from the off and you will see us dominate teams with the quality that we have got in the group.
“It will be a huge confidence boost to get a result. That’s the thing, you get one or two wins and you see how quick things can change in the Championship because the league is that tight that you can be up there.”
