Linked heavily with West Ham and four other Premier League clubs, if Middlesbrough sign Harold Moukoudi from Le Havre it will be quite the coup.

Boro have significant funds following the big money sales of Ben Gibson and Adama Traore and manager Tony Pulis views Moukoudi as the ideal player to replace the former in his squad.
The 20-year-old had hoped to move to the Premier League over the summer, but is prepared to drop down into the Championship if the terms are right.
Quite the coup
This would be an impressive capture by Pulis considering that it was less than a fortnight ago that Sky Sports were reporting Moukoudi was on the verge of joining West Ham United.
The Hammers weren’t the only top flight side from England interested either, with football.London claiming Brighton and Hove Albion, Burnley and Crystal Palace were also keen.

And it was only 12 months ago that Champions League regulars such as Arsenal and RB Leipzig, as well as Ligue 1 duo Bordeaux and Nice, were also thought to be keeping tabs on Moukoudi.
So for Boro to win the race for the 20-year-old’s signature would signal the ambitions that those in charge at the Riverside Stadium have.
