The Ibrox defender has improved his form for Rangers this season.

The Croatian international was signed by Steven Gerrard last summer but had an indifferent 2018/19 season.
Struggling for form and having significant issues, he found himself competing for the left-back spot with Andy Halliday and Jon Flanagan, both of whom are unnatural in the position.
That continued into the early stages of this season, but in recent months he’s shown real improvement and become something of a favourite with fans who admire his style of play.
He even has his own song now, set to the tune of Karma Chameleon by Culture Club.
It’s a backing he’s admitted has given him a big boost as he attempts to prove he’s one of Gerrard’s successful transfer.
As quoted by The Scottish Sun, Barisic said: “I really enjoy it when they sing my song, it is an amazing feeling. When I tell my friends in Croatia, they listen to the song!
“Of course it gives you a boost. I am a professional player and when someone sings your song, especially if it is 20,000 or 30,000 people, it is amazing. Really amazing.”
Consistent and creative
The fact that Barisic has started the club’s last 11 matches in all competitions speaks volumes about the progress he is making and the consistency he is now showing at Ibrox.
He’s clearly turned a corner with Gerrard, who wasn’t shy with his criticism of the player last season (The Scottish Sun).
In that run of 11 games, Barisic has proven to be quite the creative talent, registering five assists. Three of those have come in the Europa League group stages, the highlight of which was a stunning run and low cross for Alfredo Morelos to smash home against Porto.

With seven assists and two goals in total this season, he’s finally realising his potential as a viable attacking full-back at the club.
He’ll be looking to carry that form into tonight’s encounter against Porto at Ibrox.
