Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers have a gem in Alfredo Morelos.
Borna Barisic has hailed the goalscoring feats of Rangers team-mate Alfredo Morelos.
The Colombian hitman scored twice in a League Cup semi-final win over Hearts this past weekend to make it 20 goals for the season across all competitions.
It’s November and the Rangers striker is only 10 goals away from equalling his total for last season.
He is undeniably one of Scottish football’s most extraordinary talents, and the Croatia international says that Morelos is just ‘crazy’ right now.
Barisic, a £2.2 million signing by the Gers 14 months ago [Record], told The Scottish Sun: “Fredo is crazy at the moment. He is always hungry to score and we see that in every game.
“Every time he goes on the pitch, he plays like it is his last game. He is a very good player and to have 20 goals already this season is amazing.”
The downside of Morelos’s form is it that the January transfer window might bring a lot of uncomfortable rumours for Rangers.
It’s all but guaranteed that the Ibrox side will face questions about Morelos’s availability and no doubt there’ll be some monster offers.
The Blues will want to keep him for as long as possible, particularly being in a title race with Celtic, but there could be a big, big decision to make over the coming months.
