Wilfried Zaha has taken to Twitter to hit back at Tony Cascarino’s comments regarding his performance against Chelsea.
The talkSPORT pundit said that the Ivorian seemed disinterested against Frank Lampard’s side, and looked like a player who had come to terms with the fact a big move away isn’t happening.
However, Zaha then replied: ‘Here we go with the usual nonsense boring now.’
It is no secret that the forward wants to leave Selhurst Park.
As The Guardian reported, he handed in a transfer request last summer, while revealing to The Daily Mail that he’d like to play in the Champions League.
However, his drab display against Chelsea was mainly down to a lack of attacking impetus in Roy Hodgson’s game plan.

As a whole, the Eagles only had four shots to Chelsea’s 17, with none of them hitting the target as WhoScored proves.
Edouard Mendy had the easiest Premier League debut any player has presumably had in years.
In response to his tweet, Zaha’s ex-teammate Pape Souare wrote: ‘Let them talk and do your thing you usually doing like always best player. Palace Legend.’

You cannot put the former Manchester United winger’s display down to a lack of commitment or desire – the game plan at Stamford Bridge simply stifled him, along with his teammates in attack.
If Zaha is to move anywhere, it’ll need to happen today with the deadline looming.
However, his response to Cascarino’s comments suggests he’s largely bored of the talk regarding his future from the media.
