Spurs and Chelsea are both said to be interested in the signature of the Ivorian talent.
Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur have both been handed a boost in their pursuit of Atalanta talent Franck Kessie – according to a report from CalcioMercato.
It was reported by CM yesterday that Juventus, their main rivals for the signing of the Ivory Coast talent, have pulled out of the race.

Spurs and Chelsea are said to be willing to meet the €23 million (£19.3 million) fee that Atalanta want for Juventus but that comes as too high a fee for the Bianconeri who have informed Atalanta they are no longer interested in the signature of the player.
Chelsea and Spurs are the two Premier League teams being most heavily linked with a move for the player – although that is likely to be a deal that they do in the summer.

Kessie is a 19-year-old signed by Atalanta in the summer after an impressive spell on loan at Cesena from Stella Club last season.
He has already scored five goals in 15 appearances for the club, including four goals in his first three games.
A move in January does seem unlikely, considering he is set to be off to the African Cup of Nations with Ivory Coast.
But with the main Italian competition off the table, the Premier League sides appear to have the upper hand.
