The Hammers, under new manager Manuel Pellegrini, are reportedly keen on the 26-year-old midfielder after he left Arsenal on July 1.

That followed talks with new Gunners boss Unai Emery who reportedly told Wilshere his game time would be “significantly reduced” if he chose to remain at the Emirates.
West Ham suffered a blow, though, according to a report from ESPN this week which claimed Turkish side Fenerbahce were in ‘advanced talks’ with the player.
But the Hammers’ price on landing Wilshere has been slashed today to 1/8 on with Fenerbache second favourites at 5/1, as revealed on Oddschecker. Earlier this week Fenerbahce were favourites.
It is a big leap and West Ham fans will be hoping the old adage ‘the bookmakers are always right’ rings true this time.
