Lampard became the new manager of Derby County on Thursday, but could stars from Stoke City, Bournemouth and Zenit St Petersburg join him at Pride Park?

England's former player Frank Lampard takes his seat for The Best FIFA Football Awards ceremony, on October 23, 2017 in London.

Bookmaker Sky Bet is offering odds of 4/1 or shorter on Frank Lampard signing four of his former teammates, including Peter Crouch of Stoke City and Jermain Defoe of Bournemouth, at Derby County.

Lampard was appointed as Derby’s new manager on Thursday, after agreeing a three-year deal at Pride Park.

By that time, Sky Bet had already installed the Rams as 5/4 favourites for John Terry’s signature, following the former Chelsea captain’s release by Aston Villa.

Frank Lampard and John Terry are seen during the FA Youth Cup Final, second leg between Chelsea and Mancherster City at Stamford Bridge on April 26, 2017 in London, England.

However, you can also bet on Crouch and Defoe coming to Derby, along with ex-Chelsea pair Branislav Ivanovic and Robert Huth.

Crouch, who played alongside Lampard for England, and Defoe, England and West Ham United, are both 6/4 to reunite with the 39-year-old this summer.

And you can get odds of 3/1 and 4/1 respectively on Ivanovic, who has one year to run on his Zenit St Petersburg contract, and Huth, who is being released by Leicester City, doing likewise.

Crouch still has a year left at Stoke, while Defoe signed up until 2020 at Bournemouth last summer.

The latter was recently linked with a move to Glasgow Rangers, managed of course by he and Lampard’s former England partner Steven Gerrard.

Derby are however expected to rein in their spending this summer, which could make high profile signings such as these ones difficult to pull off.
