West Ham United and Manchester United are among seven Premier League clubs listed as candidates to sign Burnley’s Tom Heaton with bookmakers Bet Victor.

Several top flight sides have been credited with interest in Heaton in recent months, including current frontrunners Everton and Liverpool [4/1].

However, both West Ham and Manchester United are yet to be strongly linked with the England goalkeeper, making their presence as 6/1 second favourites particularly intriguing.

The pair could find themselves in need of reinforcements between the sticks this summer, with question marks surrounding the futures of Hammers duo Adrian and Darren Randolph, and likewise Red Devils number one David de Gea.

A chance to succeed De Gea at Old Trafford could appeal strongly to Heaton, who came through the Premier League giants’ ranks.

However, Bet Victor’s odds suggest that United, as well as West Ham, could face competition from a trio of other linked clubs – Crystal Palace [also 6/1], Newcastle United [8/1] and Manchester City [12/1].

Would Burnley’s Heaton be a good buy for West Ham United/Manchester United?
