Ruddy left Norwich City last week and could be the man to replace Jordan Pickford at Sunderland.
A free agent after leaving Norwich last week, Ruddy recently admitted an interest in joining Sunderland’s Championship rivals Aston Villa [Daily Mirror], while West Ham United have also been linked with a move [Daily Mail].

But Simon Grayson’s side have suddenly shot to the front of contention, having seen their odds cut to 1/4.
Grayson was only appointed as Mackems manager last week, but has already completed his first signing with Everton’s Brendan Galloway joining on loan.
Galloway’s clubmates Tyias Browning and Aiden McGeady look set to follow, although a goalkeeper could feature highly on the 47-year-old’s list of priorities after Jordan Pickford was sold to Everton last month.
