Leeds United striker is among the favourites.

Leeds United striker Pierre-Michel Lasogga announced his arrival in the Championship with a bang at the weekend in a 5-0 win over Burton Albion.

He scored two and provided an assist, and came close to adding to his tally against Birmingham City on Tuesday evening.

The German is on a season long loan from Hamburg and is hoping to re-discover the form which once saw him called up at international level.

After his terrific start, SkyBet have released odds on him winning the Championship Golden Boot – and already he is third favourite.

Middlesbrough striker Britt Assombalonga is current favourite at 7/1, with Sheffield United’s Billy Sharp at 10/1.

Lasogga is rated at 12/1 third favourite, along with Norwich City’s Nelson Oliveira.

Leeds forwards Samu Saiz and Caleb Ekuban are 50/1 outsiders with Kemar Roofe at 80/1.
