Newcastle United are behind only Crystal Palace in the running to sign the Scottish winger, according to Ladbrokes.
Oliver Burke in action for Scotland
Burke has been strongly linked with a move to Crystal Palace this week, and with odds of 1/3 the Eagles are clear frontrunners for the Scotland international’s signature.
But Newcastle may also be in with a shout, according to the bookies, who have placed them alongside Southampton at 6/1.

Burke is said to have cost Leipzig £13 million from Nottingham Forest a year ago, but has struggled for regular game time in Germany and could be available.
Palace certainly appear to have the upper hand, having recently hired the 20-year-old’s former boss at Forest – Dougie Freedman – as their new sporting director – while Newcastle have to sell before they can buy according to manager Rafa Benitez.

Despite signing Christian Atsu and Jacob Murphy on permanent deals already this summer, the Magpies are said to want another winger.
However, a loan move looks to be their best bet of landing Burke at this moment in time.
Swansea City (9/1) are the other team featured on Ladbrokes’ list.
