Newcastle United have been linked with a move for the West Bromwich Albion striker.

Bookmakers Ladbrokes have released odds on who they believe Newcastle are most likely to sign this summer, and make West Brom’s Salomon Rondon the 1/2 favourite to make the switch to Tyneside.
Newcastle have been linked with a whole host of players this summer, but the addition of a centre-forward seems to be a priority for Rafa Benitez, with Dwight Gayle and Aleksandar Mitrovic facing uncertain futures at St James’ Park.
The Magpies enjoyed an incredibly successful Premier League campaign last season, ending up in 10th position, but if they are to make real progress this term, the addition of an established forward will be vitally important.
And Ladbrokes believe that Rondon could very well br the man for the job.
They list him as the 1/2 favourite for the player most likely to join Newcastle this summer.

Newcastle have actually been heavily linked with a move for the 66-capped Venezuelan international, with the Telegraph claiming that Rafa Benitez’s side have already had a loan bid for the forward knocked back.
Whether Rondon is the man to take the Magpies to the next level, though, is highly debatable.
