Everton currently find themselves in the bottom three of the Premier League after losing to Manchester United.

The new Premier League season may be just five games old, but bookmaker Sky Bet appear to believe that the pressure is already piling on Everton boss Ronald Koeman with the Dutchman currently listed as the second favourite to be the next top flight manager to leave his job.
At the closure of the transfer window, it had appeared that the Toffees had done some of the best business and were perhaps in a position to potentially push up the table after finishing a clear seventh last term.

According to Transfermarkt, Everton spent just over £142 million during the summer, with Gylfi Sigurdsson, Michael Keane and Jordan Pickford proving to be amongst their most expensive signings, while Wayne Rooney’s return to Goodison Park was arguably one of the most notable deals in the window.
However, the Toffees now find themselves in the relegation zone after five games, with just four points coming along the way while they have also lost their last four games in all competitions, scoring none and conceding 12 during that run.

That has seemingly led to an increased number of questions about the job that Koeman has done since arriving from Southampton, and the bookmakers appear to believe that a change in the dug-out may not be out of the question entirely.
Sky Bet list Koeman as the 11/4 second favourite to be the next Premier League manager to leave his job, with West Ham’s Slaven Bilic not too far ahead of him at 15/8.
The odds come in the wake of Everton’s 4-0 defeat to Manchester United at Old Trafford where the Toffees took a significant amount of time to get into the game, and were left feeling incredibly deflated after conceding three late goals.
And while four winnable home games in a row should be a blessing for Koeman after the horrible run of fixtures they have had, he will also be aware that there may well be a greater amount of noise coming from his critics if they do not turn things around quickly.
