Newcastle United have loaned Adam Armstrong out to Bolton Wanderers for the season.
Bolton Wanderers supporters have praised the performance of Adam Armstrong on his debut last night.
Bolton took on non-league side AFC Fylde yesterday evening, and Phil Parkinson gave Armstrong his first chance to impress, after arriving on loan from Newcastle United.
Armstrong will spend the entire season at the Macron Stadium, where Newcastle will be hoping that he gets plenty of game time.
And Bolton fans seem to have been impressed by Armstrong’s first showing.
Armstrong came on as a second-half substitute in the fixture, but Bolton could only pick up a 0-0 draw.
Newcastle have sent Armstrong out on loan for the past two seasons, and he has impressed.

Armstrong first caught the eye at Coventry City, before he spent time with Barnsley last term.
Newcastle still have high hopes for the youngster, but Rafael Benitez has decided that Armstrong’s development would be better served by playing regular football at Bolton, rather than sticking around at St. James’ Park.
