Bolton are keen on signing free agent Karl Henry.

The 34-year-old was released by Queens Park Rangers in the summer and has not played since last season.
However desperate times call for desperate measures, and Bolton are not in a position to be picky.
The Trotters sit rock bottom of the Championship with no wins from nine matches and just two points.

They are looking at relegation back down to League One, and while Henry signing may not change that, he ought to make Phil Parkinson’s side more competitive.
The tough tackling midfielder will add experience to the midfield and is familiar with the Championship.

Henry has been training over the last month with Premier League side West Bromwich Albion and with the international break soon upcoming, he could quickly get up to speed for Bolton.
Despite their need for new faces, Bolton fans are not convinced by the potential signing of the former Stoke and Wolves midfielder.
