The former Aston Villa, Stoke and Manchester City midfielder joined the Whites in October but has now left without making a senior appearance.

Bolton Wanderers have announced that midfielder Stephen Ireland has left the club.
The 32-year-old, who counts Manchester City, Aston Villa and Stoke City among his former employers, joined the Championship side on an initial short-term deal in October.
Ireland made two appearances for Bolton’s development squad, according to the Bolton News, but has now departed the club without playing for their senior team.
The former Republic of Ireland international has played just five times since the start of the 2017-18 season after suffering a broken leg in a training ground accident at Stoke.
Ireland has made 304 club appearances during his career, including 245 in the Premier League, and has won six caps for his nation, scoring four goals, according to Transfermarkt.
Prior to arriving at the University of Bolton Stadium, he had been without a club since departing the Bet365 Stadium at the end of last season.

After Bolton published a statement on their official website confirming Ireland’s departure, some Whites fans took to Twitter to express their opinions:
Bolton are currently labouring in the Championship, languishing second from bottom in the table, one point behind Reading who are just above the relegation zone.
