Bolton Wanderers drew 1-1 with Reading on Tuesday night.

Bolton Wanderers salvaged a point on Tuesday night as they scored late to draw 1-1 at home against fellow Championship strugglers Reading.
With so much off-field concern at the Macron Stadium, Bolton needed a morale-boosting win at home to a side also in the relegation zone.
The Trotters were in real danger of losing though, as Nelson Oliveira scored his first Reading goal from the penalty spot, after Pawel Olkowski fouled Garath McCleary.
However, Bolton rescued themselves late on, with defender Jack Hobbs snatching an injury-time equaliser, though a draw doesn’t particularly help either side.
Bolton fans don’t have much to shout about right now, but the emergence of teenage midfielder Luca Connell has been a major boost.
The 17-year-old talent has come up through the Bolton ranks and impressed in his first start against Bristol City on Friday night, earning himself a second on Tuesday.

Intriguingly, the Daily Mail reported that Tottenham were scouting Connell last night, with Mauricio Pochettino’s side seemingly keen on luring the teenager away.
Bolton fans took to Twitter to hail Connell as ‘different class’ despite his youth, adding that he is ‘one hell of a talent’ and will be a Premier League player in the future.
Others suggested that Bolton need more Luca Connells to survive in the Championship, and fear he will be sold before tomorrow’s transfer deadline.
