West Ham United’s Reece Burke is out on loan at Bolton Wanderers.

West Ham United are in action against Stoke City in the Premier League this evening, and fans will be hoping for another win to take the club another step closer to Premier League survival.
Away from the London Stadium, West Ham do have a host of players out on loan, and one of those is homegrown defender Reece Burke.
The 21-year-old centre back spent the first half of the season out on loan at Bolton Wanderers before making a brief return to West Ham in January, only to be sent back to Bolton before the deadline.
Burke started for Bolton in their trip to Barnsley on Saturday afternoon, but it’s fair to say that the Hammers-owned youngster didn’t have the greatest day at Oakwell.

Burke struggled in the first half and was substituted at the break, with manager Phil Parkinson bringing on Will Buckley in his place after a torrid first-half showing.
Whilst Bolton fans were left to reflect on a topsy-turvy game in which they were 1-0 down, then 2-1 up, and then left to accept a 2-2 draw, they wasted little time in slamming Burke.
Fans took to Twitter to suggest that Burke not only shouldn’t have been re-signed but also shouldn’t play for the club again, branding his display ‘absolute garbage’ and even suggesting that Burke is stealing a living.
