
Everton’s Yannick Bolasie has suggested that Dominic Calvert-Lewin does not need to leave Goodison Park.
It was claimed that Calvert-Lewin should leave Everton by Manchester City on Twitter last night.
However, Bolasie hit back at those claims – and suggested that Calvert-Lewin may well achieve European football by staying exactly where he is.
Calvert-Lewin was in among the goals again last night, as Everton picked up a 5-4 win over Tottenham.
The England striker picked up his 18th goal of the campaign, in what is turning into the finest season of his career.
Calvert-Lewin’s form certainly will be drawing admiring glances now, but Everton are unlikely to entertain any offers, unless they are exorbitant.
Calvert-Lewin has developed into their main goalscorer, and Carlo Ancelotti’s side will surely want to keep him at the club for the years ahead, as the build for an exciting future.
