Stoke City striker Bojan Krkic has told the Daily Mail that Tottenham Hotspur full backs Kyle Walker and Danny Rose both impressed him this past season.
Stoke took on Spurs twice in the league, and Walker and Rose were in fine form in both matches.
Stoke first drew 2-2 with Tottenham at White Hart Lane, before Mauricio Pochettino’s side won 4-0 at the Britannia Stadium.
And Bojan believes that both Walker and Rose can be key for England at Euro 2016.
“I played for Stoke against Tottenham this season and the full backs Kyle Walker and Danny Rose have superb energy and quality,” the former Barcelona striker said. “I hope they have the same freedom for England.”
Walker and Rose have both won Man of the Match awards for England in the build up to the international tournament.
Walker was named as England’s best player in their friendly against Portgual, while Rose won the award for his performance in Roy Hodgson’s side’s contest with Turkey.
The rapid full-back pair look likely to start in the Three Lions’ first match of the tournament, which comes against Russia on Saturday evening. England also face group games against Wales and Slovakia.
Walker and Rose were part of a Tottenham side which had the joint best defensive record of any Premier League team last season.
