Manchester City’s Bobby Duncan is on the move this summer.

Manchester City have become known for snapping up young talents from around the globe, but today they lost one of their hottest prospects.
The likes of Brahim Diaz, Aleix Garcia and Manu Garcia are just some of the young players to have moved to City in an attempt to further their careers, but one player has decided that he is better off away from the Eithad Stadium.

Striker Bobby Duncan – an England youth international with 10 goals in 23 games for the Under-15’s, Under-16’s and Under-17’s – has been coming up through the ranks with City, but his exit has been expected for some time.
The 17-year-old made just five Under-18 appearances for City last season, and he has today confirmed that he is leaving City after six years with the club, taking to Instagram to post a farewell message.
Duncan admitted that it was a hard decision to leave City, but he and his family feel that it’s now time to move on and attempt to fulfil his potential elsewhere, whilst thanking everybody he worked with at City.

Duncan will now be finding a new club, but the Daily Mail recently reported that he is expected to sign for Premier League rivals Liverpool in something of a coup for the Reds.
The teenager is Steven Gerrard’s cousin, meaning a move to Anfield is unsurprisingly appealing, with a move allegedly set up in April – and Duncan’s announcement today may just suggest that a move to Merseyside is imminent.
