Former Derby County player Bobby Davison says that Andre Wisdom would be a great addition to the squad.

Championship club Derby County, are reportedly close to completing the signing of Andre Wisdom from Liverpool.
The Liverpool Echo reported earlier this week that the Rams have agreed a deal with Liverpool for the defender, which could be worth up to £4.5 million.
The report claimed that the deal is worth more than £2 million initially, with extra payments due when targets are reached. In total, it is worth around £4.5 million.

Wisdom is primarily a centre-back, but he can also cover as a right-back. However, according to former Derby County striker and fan favourite Bobby Davison, Wisdom is capable of playing in the holding midfield role as well.
While Wisdom played as right back in his successful loan spell at Derby in 2013-14, he was mostly a centre-back during his time at Liverpool.

However, Davison, who was a part of the England Under-19 coaching set up when he worked with Wisdom, has revealed the player’s ability of playing in central midfield.
“Andre can play a few positions – right-back, centre-back, midfield – and that’s great to have in your squad,” Davison said, as quoted by the Derby Telegraph.
“I think his best position is centre-back or holding midfield but he would play anywhere for the manager and the team.”
Davison adds that Wisdom would be a ‘great’ addition to the squad. While Derby manager Gary Rowett would prefer him in central defence, he might use him in midfield if, and when, necessary.
