Graeme Murty’s Glasgow Rangers will face Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic at Ibrox, and Jamie Murphy could feature for the Gers in the Old Firm derby.

Murphy, who joined Rangers on loan from Brighton and Hove Albion in the Premier League in England in the January transfer window, is suffering from a broken toe, but the 28-year-old is in line to feature in the Old Firm derby on Sunday afternoon, according to The Scottish Sun.
Former Rangers star Malcolm, who was on the books of the Ibrox club from 1997 until 2006, believes that Murphy will be fine playing against Brendan Rodgers’s side despite not looking tough.

Malcolm, 37, told The Scottish Sun: “It doesn’t surprise me Jamie Murphy is going to play through the pain barrier at the weekend.
“But he won’t even need an injection to line up against Celtic. Murphy will be on such a high at facing Celtic he will be able to get through the game on adrenaline alone.”
“Jamie doesn’t look tough, but he is a hardy boy inside and he will just get on with it,” added Malcolm. “It will be a case of grin and bear it.”
