West Bromwich Albion goalkeeper Boaz Myhill suggested on the Sky Sports Now show on Sky Sports News HQ on Friday morning (broadcast from 10am, October 7, 2016) that his side are aiming to finish in the top eight of the Premier League this season.

The Baggies are ninth in the league table at the moment with nine points from seven matches.

Myhill, who is 33 years of age, has suggested that Tony Pulis’s side are aiming to finish in the top eight.

“We will be looking forward to finishing around mid-table again,” said Myhill on the Sky Sports Now show on Sky Sports News HQ on Friday morning (broadcast from 10am, October 7, 2016).

“Given a good run of fortune and some positive results, we can overachieve and maybe finish in the top eight.”

West Brom have established themselves as a Premier League club under manager Tony Pulis.

The Baggies are unlikely to be involved in a relegation fight this season, and fans should be optimistic about a push for a top-10 finish.

It will be very tough for West Brom to end up in the top eight, given the number of clubs aiming for a top-10 spot.

Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea are all targeting the Premier League title during the 2016-17 campaign.

Everton and West Ham United, who are in the relegation zone at the moment, will have aspirations of getting into the top 10, and so will the likes of Leicester City, Crystal Palace and Southampton.
