The Wolverhampton Wanderers winger is suffering with a back problem.

According to a report from the Express & Star, Wolves ace Ivan Cavaleiro is set to miss several weeks with a troublesome back injury, in news that will be a real blow to Nuno Espirito Santo’s side.
The Black Country outfit were one of the busiest clubs during the transfer window, with Nuno bringing a plethora of new faces into Molineux, so they do at least have bodies to cope without Cavaleiro.
The 24-year-old Portuguese is vital to the way in which Wolves play, however, and he will be extremely hard to replace.
The Express & Star claims that his troublesome back problems will force him to rest up for at least a month, meaning that he will miss six weeks of action.

With that timescale in mind, Cavaleiro probably will not return for Wolves until after the first international break of the season.
Nuno does have plenty of other options in forward areas to call upon, however, including Adama Traore and Helder Costa, and only time will tell whether they are able to cope with the extended absence of one of their key men.
