Tottenham Hotspur moved within three points of the top four tonight.

Jose Mourinho’s side rode their luck a little to secure a 1-0 win away to Fulham at Craven Cottage.

A first-half own goal from Tosin Adarabioyo is what separated both teams on a night when Tottenham started with Harry Kane, Son Heung-min, Gareth Bale and Dele Alli in attack.

It was a relatively unconvincing performance from Spurs, who were a touch fortunate to get the victory after Josh Maja had an equaliser very harshly ruled out following a VAR decision.

Here’s how Lord Sugar reacted to the win on Twitter:

Was it a good performance by Tottenham? Nope. Will Mourinho care? Nope.

Results are more important than the performances at this stage of the season and with a three-point deficit from the Champions League qualification places, nobody affiliated with the North London club will be bothered all that much if a slice of good luck played a role in the victory.
