Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to react after BT Sport tweeted about Lionel Messi and FIFA’s The Best awards on Friday.

BT Sport tweeted about how the Barcelona forward didn’t include Jurgen Klopp in his vote for the top three coaches.

The Argentina international also didn’t vote for a single Liverpool player in his top three players, nor did he include Alisson Becker in his top three goalkeepers.

BT Sport added flames to the fire by tweeting that Messi ‘has no love’ for the Reds, while also posting a photo of the six-time Ballon d’Or winner with his head in his hands at Anfield.

BT Sport were suggesting that the Argentine still hasn’t gotten over his side’s 4-3 loss to Liverpool in the Champions League semi-final in 2019.

A few supporters below have suggested that Andy Robertson is responsible for Messi’s anti-Liverpool voting choices.

In that aforementioned Champions League tie, the Scotland international pushed Messi’s head, and also squared up to the Barcelona No.10 during a heated first-half.

Bayern Munich may have won the treble, but there were more than enough Liverpool players who Messi could’ve voted for.

Also, there’s no way that the attacker can justify leaving Klopp out of his top three coaches.

The German won the UEFA Super Cup, FIFA Club World Cup and the Premier League last season.
